• 1. Is Procell MD Microchanneling painful? What does it actually feel like?

  

  No, it is surprisingly tolerable! Unlike traditional microneedling pens that drag and slice through the skin, Procell MD uses a vertical "stamping" motion. Most clients describe the sensation as a light, scratchy, or ticklish vibration. The metal filaments are ultra-fine (thinner than a human hair), meaning there is minimal nerve stimulation.

• 2. Do you use numbing cream for Microchanneling at blkbmr?

  

  For standard facial rejuvenation using Procell's 0.25mm tips, most clients completely skip the numbing cream because the pain level is only about a 2 out of 10. However, if we are targeting deep acne scars or stretch marks with longer clinical tips (0.5mm or higher), or if you simply have a low pain tolerance, we can absolutely apply a topical numbing agent to ensure you are 100% comfortable

• 3. Does a Nanofusion facial or an Electroporation session hurt?

  

  Not at all. Both Nanofusion and Electroporation are completely needle-free and 100% painless. Nanofusion uses silicone nano-chips to gently vibrate and partition dead skin cells, while Electroporation uses a gentle, advanced electromagnetic pulse to open temporary moisture pathways in the cell membranes. It feels like a soothing, warm, oscillating massage. Many of our Albuquerque clients actually fall asleep during these treatments

   

• 4. What are VT Spicules, and do they hurt?

  

  VT Spicules are microscopic, needle-like structures derived from purified marine sponges—often called "liquid microneedling" in Korean skincare science. When pressed gently into the skin, they create microscopic channels in the uppermost layer of the epidermis to trigger cellular renewal and push serums deep into the skin. While they do not hurt, you will feel a signature, ultra-fine "prickling" or tingling sensation when your face is touched for about 24 to 48 hours after application. This is completely normal and means the spicules are actively working to accelerate cellular turnover.

• 5. Will my face feel hot or burn after Procell Microchanneling?

  

  Immediately after the micro-channels are made, it is completely normal for the skin to feel tight, warm, and tingly—very similar to a moderate, dry desert sunburn. • 6. Is there any bleeding during Microchanneling?

  

  Because Procell MD creates clean, vertical micro-channels rather than tearing the tissue, pinpoint bleeding is incredibly rare at standard cosmetic depths. If any minor pinpoint bleeding does occur, it stops instantly during the treatment. Because we immediately follow your treatment with an intensive, cooling PDRN serum mask and chilled ice globes, any trace redness or minor swelling is clamped down right away. This specialized cooling step ensures you won't leave looking bloody or bruised.
